Hybrid L.C. Wri.....? x L. ??

A very healthy hybrid with florescence 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" at the end of a 16' spike which extends from the top of a 4" oval pseudobulb which also has 2 or 3 long slender leaves measuring about 10". No fragrances. Several more buds not yet open.

I have no idea what this label says either!

I checked, and there are no Laeliocattleya hybrids whose names begin with "Wri" that could plausibly match what's written there. And the Laelia parent does not seem to have a name resembling a species, so I assume it's a hybrid. Not that I can tell by the capitalization, of course :)

Because of all labels like this one that I've seen (or been guilty of!), I recommend using pencil to write plant labels: it doesn't smear or fade like ink, and has crisp lines.
